before i go back to reality
4 hours more and i have to wake up and head to school… *sigh* By virtue of Insurance we have no Sat. to speak of. After an exciting 2 1/2 hours of interrogation and intimidation by our extremely old prof., Al, Anna, Anya and I, Agnes, (haha! para lang A din ang start) went off to Teacher’s Vill. to have lunch since we were the only ones left in the block to not go to Barops after. After a huge while, the tuna barbecue was delicious! Yun nga lang di ko alam kung dahil super gutom na ako or if the food was good… OK din concept nila, tuna everything… I really badly wanted to go to Barops this week bec. I wanted to help out 1-D but then I had to bow to the whims of my family and go to Fontana. Fine. Eventually everything else gives way to what the family wants. It was Ate Machie’s wedding vs Courts of Law all over again.
Not that I’m complaining. I love spending time with my family! It’s just that want to have my cake and eat it too: have time with them and on the downtime, with friends (aka the Bar or Courts of Law). As with all else in my life, I manipulate things to suit me, as per my friends, so I think this way. Don’t mind me.
I also got a text message to watch the UP vs UE game, the last chance of my Maroons to get into the Final 4. Yes, it is pathetic to want to win so much when your team isn’t even a real contender like the Blue Eagles but then I’ve always believed my team can reach at least the Final 4. By not knowing what happened, I can’t say we still have a chance. Of course I turned down my friend’s offer to watch the game live. Reason as per the previous paragraph.
While we were in Fontana, it was so much fun running around and dancing like there was no tomorrow. For more nonsense, we danced to the Pinoy Big Brother theme complete with choreography as seen on the show! Hahaha! (My brother’s officemate came by and he and his family were completely weirded out. Which is understandable.) Afterwards we played stop dance and trip to jerusalem (I was mostly joining for the P100 prize and the chance to dance off with my cousins). My sister also taught us how to creep walk, the Harlem dance, etc and this made me aware how good a dancer she is and the unfairness of it all (It was difficult due to all the hopping about! But then I am extremely grateful since I have new dance moves in the event my block or the peyups oldies want to go out dancing, which I’ve never done. Dance in front of friends I mean. Well, there was ballroom dancing pala at Kalin’s place nung summer! Gusto ko maulit yun!). All this happened before 7 PM. =) Later the older cousins had vodka and sprite with lemons and this drinking session lasted until 3 AM, talking mostly about who was going to get married next, Belle’s once errant boyfriend of 7 years and my current law school inspiration.
Speaking of _____, I weirded my blockmates out by having a long-ish cellphone conversation about him at 12AM due to a text message by Miles of his current state of affairs. Hahaha! In my defense I wasn’t doing anything at that time and on my mom’s cellphone I can make "free" calls. So there. What I did was actually logical and not conclusive upon me that I am head over heels. =P Thanks for the update, Miles! And for the info. Hehe! Thank you to all my other blockmates (Bods and Cha particularly) for looking out for me despite of my absence at the Barops (in which half the block showed up! Argh! Next week, I will be back with a vengeance! As if di mabubuhay ng ‘di nagpapaka-bibo. Hahaha!).
I bid thee good night! I hope I have more weekends like this. I just hope next time yung getaway namin malapit sa Manila para pwede na lang ako humabol. (But then that would be missing the whole point yata. Hahaha!)
